What is the working process of smt automatic solder paste printing machine
Solder paste printing machine is the front-end equipment of SMT whole line equipment. It is one of the three mainstream pieces in SMT industry (the other two are placement machine and reflow soldering). Solder paste printing machine is divided into semi-automatic and full-automatic.
1. The PCB is fed into the machine of the automatic solder paste printing machine along the conveyor belt through the automatic board loading machine
2. The automatic solder paste printer finds the main edge of the PCB and locates it
3. Move the Z-frame up to the position of the vacuum plate
4. Add vacuum to fix the PCB in a special position
5. The visual axis (printer camera) slowly moves to the first target of the PCB (mark point)
6. The camera of the printing machine looks for the mark point (reference point) under the corresponding steel mesh
7. The machine moves the printed stencil to align it with the PCB, the machine can make the stencil move in the X, Y axis directions and in the spindle direction
8. The stencil and the PCB are aligned, the Z-frame will move up, and the PCB touches the lower part of the stencil
9. Once moved in place, the scraper will push the solder paste to roll on the stencil and print on the PAD (pad) position of the PCB through the holes in the stencil
10. When the printing is completed, the Z-frame moves down to separate the PCB from the steel mesh
11. The automatic solder paste printing machine sends the PCB to the next process
12. Fully automatic solder paste printing machine then receives the next PCB to be printed
13. Do the same process for the next PCB, just use the second scraper to print in the opposite direction
